Punat (Krk) : Profile

Location

The island of Krk lies just off the coast south of Rijeka, east of the island of Cres. It is linked to the mainland by a bridge.

Punat is is a large, almost land-locked bay on the western side of the island. It is a good place to over-winter.

Position 45°01.4'N,14°38'E (Punat).

Docking

Berth in the marina as directed or on the town quay (also administered by the marina) but there is no water or electricity here.

There is a good selection of sheltered anchorages in the bay, depending on the wind direction. There is good holding in the mud at the head of the bay or in the sand immediately to the west of the island of Kosijun.

There are several small ports and good anchorages all around the coast of the island of Krk.

All facilities, WiFi, internet cafe, restaurant, chandlery, 24hr security. Max depth 4.5m. Repair services, boatyard, 5t and 10t cranes, 100t travel lift and slipway. Shore storage.
Marina Punat also administer and supervise moorings in Zaton Soline on the NE coast of Krk.
