If you anchor near Pula and take your tender to town, DO NOT tie up anywhere near the ACI Marina as they will require you to pay and they want your boat papers (yes, for the dinghy). They cut our wire and relocated our dinghy and then demanded the papers for the dinghy (which we don't carry that around for a stroll into town). The attendant at the gas dock said he wouldn't mind us tying up for a couple hours, but he closes at 8, so after that you're taking a chance. Sept 2015
