Novigrad : Profile

Location

This interesting medieval town is about 10nm south of Umag and a similar distance north of Porec. Now it has a marina, it is a useful port of call.

Position 45°19.2'N,13°33.8'E.

Clearance

This is a summer Port of Entry.

Berth at the customs pier to complete clearance formalities.

Docking

The marina entrance is past the customs/ferry pier at the southern end of the inner breakwater. Visitors' berths are in the SE part of the marina.

There are also berths on the inner side of of the outer breakwater and yellow mooring buoys in this area too.

There is both an anchorage and visitors' mooring buoys in the northern side of the bay.

The marina is totaly sheltered but other areas in the harbour are exposed to the NW.
