Puerto Calero is strategically placed both for yachts en route from Europe to the Caribbean, as well as for those requiring a base for cruising the Canarian archipelago. In this ideal location with clean waters and the sun shining all year round, sailors will find plenty of opportunities to relax and enjoy this uniquely beautiful island.
Puerto Calero has been described by the yachting press as one of the best marinas in Spain and takes a special pride in maintaining good levels of security and cleanliness. The marina has 450 places for yachts between 8 and 70 metres with the maximum depth 5 metres. All pontoons have fresh water and electricity connections (single and three phase 220v and 400v electricity with up to 200 amps). Wifi is offered to all boats as a free service. Marina guests are invited to an annual party that takes place mid-November.
General Services:
Fuel supply (diesel and petrol); showers, pump-out facility; four-day weather forecasts; customs and immigration service; marina attendants on permanent duty; faxing and photocopying. The marina includes a large supermarket, laundrette and dry-cleaning service, pay-phones, bank and cash point, varied restaurants, a public bus stop and taxi rank. Leisure activities comprise spas, an art gallery, whale and dolphin museum, diving schools and marine excursions. Superyacht berths include options for telephone connection and bunkering.
The boatyard has a 90T hoist and offers scrubbing and painting, mechanical and electrical work, sail repair, chandlery, osmosis treatment, cleaning and maintenance, recycling facilities and guardianage. Assistance with gas refill and sourcing parts. Refrigeration work, rigging specialists and diving work contracted.
