There is now a floating pontoon off the fuel dock. Sadly, the well known ex-manager Pedro Perez Abrante (Don Pedro) retired in February 2012. He was the driving force behind the efforts to turn what was once a dirty fishing harbour into a modern marina and could solve most problems. As of Monday 6 February 2012 the fuel dock is now managed directly by Texaco. Services being offered as Pedro once did (laundry service being one of them) are currently unknown.

LPG (gas)

Filling gas bottles has traditionally been problematic in Las Palmas, so it is best to stock up as much as possible before you arrive. The local gas company, DISA, sell bottles of butane, although these bottles are generally too large to fit inside a gas cupboard. They will do refills of butane, and propane if sufficient demand. The Texaco fuel dock sell new Camping Gas and standard-size Propane bottles.
