S. H. Duarte is one of the oldest chandleries in the Canaries, founded in 1946, by Hermenegildo Duarte (the father of present owner) and Antonio Armas (founder of the shipping Company Naviera Armas)
in order to serve the fishing fleet of the Sahara... (banco sahariano).
Nowadays the biggest chandlery in Lanzarote.
