Call on VHF Ch 8 on arrival for berthing instructions. An official will visit the yacht for clearance. For clearance out of the port, call on VHF Ch 8 or visit the Border Police at the root of the ferry dock.
This town is on the cruise ship itinerary and so is well supplied with all types of shops and restaurants. The local town to the west is where you will find the shops, banks, ATM’s, green grocers and bakeries.
There is a marina here and is also possible to anchor.
In southerly winds anchor on the north side of the peninsula west of the fishing harbour. It is a sand/mud and weed bottom. Keep a careful eye out for isolated rocks when you are inside the 4 m contour.
Nessebar Marina It is shallower than advised, with less than 2m at the fuel dock and at the berth for boats under 10m. There is an isolated rock off the northeast quay which is not marked.
