Clearance

Customs clearance must be done in Rio which means either visiting Rio first or making the day trip there to complete paperwork. It is about a 3 hour drive; there are good bus connections and the buses are usually airconditioned.

Docking

A lively fishing harbour, also sporting two marinas and a great number of private docks.

This club , set across the Bay of Angra from the town, is the most protected anchorage in the area. Small boatyard.
