Blankenberge : Profile
This is a port of entry from early April to late September.
The shelter is good in the harbour here, but the approach can be dangerous in on-shore winds above F5
There are some visitors' pontoons in the Old Yacht Harbour, which is to port, past the fishing vessels, but it is mostly local boats.
The new harbour and marina is to sta'bd. The berthing is controlled by the 3 Yacht Clubs.

The local search and rescue organisation, Vrijwillige Blankenbergse Zeereddingsdienst (VBZR) monitors VHF channel 8.
