Port St Charles : Profile
Port St Charles is now an official port of entry with customs, immigration and health inspectors and office on the breakwater in front of PSC. Customs telephone number is 246 419 1300. Before entering, call the dockmaster, Derek Ince, on VHF16 or 77 for instructions. Holding tanks are obligatory. It is reported that smaller yachts (ie less than 150 feet) are not especially welcome.
Port St Charles is a luxury development on the northwest coast. There is a small marina with 6 visitor berths for yachts up to 200 feet. If entering, keep the small red buoys on the right. Reports are that larger yachts (over 35 feet) may find the manoeuvering difficult in the marina basin.
A secure place to leave your boat with checks carried out at a cost of US$20 per day.
