A Great offer if making Bundaberg your Port of Entry

Make a firm reservation for greater than 3 months (Quarterly) in either a wet berth, on the hardstand or dry storage yard and Bundaberg Port Marina will *credit your quarantine fees (approx. A$330) against your marina charges. Present your Quarantine receipt at the office after your clearance, to receive the credit off your invoice.

The Bundaberg Port Marina survived the recent floods (which devastated the upper reaches of the Burnett River), and are now expanding their operation with the arrival of a brand new 75 Tonne Marine Travel Lift plus the provisioning for another 30 dry storage sites. This is a popular hardstand and storage facility for international cruisers due to the friendly and dedicated staff here, quality cradles and on-site trade services.

The marina provides a courtesy bus Monday to Friday into the City of Bundaberg and on Sundays takes marina guests into the local markets. Hire cars are also available from the marina office.

The World Heritage Listed Fraser Island and Bunker Reef Island Group – which includes the majestic Lady Musgrave Island – are close by.

Why choose the Port of Bundaberg as your entry point into Australia?

  • Closest Port of Entry to New Caledonia and Vanuatu.
  • Safest weather route, remaining in the sub-tropical East- South East trade winds and avoiding the North Tasman Seas.
  • Wide open passage between Bunker Island Group and northern end of Fraser Island.
  • Easy deepwater access into “runway” style lead lights, entering all weather Port of Bundaberg.
  • One mile into the river following the shipping leads, turn to port into the Bundaberg Port Marina.
