Australia: Bundaberg Marina Installs New Fuel Berth

A new OPT (Outdoor Payment Terminal) is now operational at the marina and the new berth layout frees up the hammerhead places for easy berthing when arriving at night.

The Bundaberg Port Marina has completed the installation of a 24/7 refueling station located on the end of the new fingers put in last year. The refueling station operates from an OPT (Outdoor Payment Terminal) that customers:

1. insert their credit or debit cards into

2. select the dollar amount of the fuel required

3. pump the fuel

4. hang up the nozzle

5. reinsert the card into the OPT and receive the receipt. (If the full dollar value of fuel has not been used, a refund will be put back onto the card).

The new fingers cater for catamarans and vessels with oversized beams that we have in the past had to accommodate on the end fingers. Freeing up the end of the fingers allows for overnighting guest to make for easy berthing for the night. The extra fingers takes the Bundaberg Port Marina to 180 floating berths and 100 hardstand and dry storage sites.

We should have another great promotion launched shortly for our international visitors, so watch this space!
