Docking

Newcastle is approximately 70 miles north of Sydney and Port Sephens another 30 miles beyond that. Newcastle has one marina, run the the local Cruising Club, and Port Stephens has several. It is also an excellent and attractive area in which to spend the cyclone season.

Neither port has a bar (unlike many along this coast) and can, therefore be entered in almost any weather.
