Where is Eden?

Eden is situated on the Sapphire Coast which is the southern most coastline of  New South Wales and borders the state of  Victoria.  The area became known as the Sapphire Coast for the clear sparkling waters of the ocean and the many lakes along its coastline.  It is situated on the beautiful harbour of Twofold Bay which is the third-deepest natural harbour in the Southern Hemisphere.  It is a principal commercial port and a major fishing town and has a long associated history with whales. Many species can be seen just offshore here during their annual migration (September to November).

There are number of uncharted rocks to be aware of which are only visible during low tide.  Anchoring inside the break wall with a night time arrival is not recommended.
