Oranjestad : Profile
All yachts must now clear at Barcadera Harbour. Call Aruba Port Control on channel 16 and notify them that you will be tying up for clearance at Barcadera harbour.
Full instructions on entry into Barcadera Harbour and berthing for clearance can be found on the Renaissance Marina Website.
The captain can take the ships papers to the immigration office at the sea side of the road entry to the harbour. Across the road is the Customs office.
The correct courtesy flag is that of the Netherlands, but a request can be made for an Aruban flag. On departure one must also come to the dock to obtain clearance out of Aruba.

Besides the marina, there are two yacht clubs where visitors may sometimes use the moorings.
Down the coast from Oranjestad, near Spanish Lagoon, is the Aruba Nautical Club, which has berths, fuel, water and electricity. Members of other yacht clubs may use the facilities, but should check in advance.
Between Oranjestad and Spanish Lagoon is the Bucuti Yacht Club which also has docking space and a few other facilities. Varadero Caribe right next to (NE of) BYCA, will accept visitors, but is usually full. There is a restaurant on premises and also a travel lift.
